Overview

The Main Form provides single asset multi-jurisdictional SCR calculation function. It is useful when you wish to

  • Calculate the SCR of a particular asset very accurately and understand the calculation and input sensitivities;
  • You wish to calculate/compare different insurance regimes' capital charges on a particular asset; or,
  • You wish to setup a model asset to represent an asset class or an index to be added to the Model Portfolio form.

The taxonomy for assets under different insurance regulatory regimes can be different. The SCR Calculator takes an appropriate level of granularity to ensure the set of inputs can be consistently useful under all the regimes.

About

The SCR Calculator can be used for single asset or portfolio SCR calculations under multiple jurisdictions, and both asset-class-level and line-level portfolio optimisations.
